The penetration cup produced by TRUIT is designed in accordance with GB/T 17146, JG/T 309, JG/T 485, ISO 7783, ASTM D 1653 and other standards, which is used to determine the permeability performance of paints, varnishes, coatings, coating films, coating systems and related products, and to determine the penetration rate of water vapor to the paint film by reducing or increasing the weight of the contents of the cup within a specific time. Using the same method, the permeability of the paint film to a variety of other substrates in the gaseous state can be determined.

· This penetration cup is suitable for both self-supporting coating and non-self-supporting coating. Generally, moisture permeability is concerned in high humidity environments, so the wet cup method is the main method for determining the moisture permeability of coatings. If there are no objections to other aspects, the toast method can also be used in different procedures or circumstances
· Self-supporting coating: Single-layer coating, not laid on any bottom plate, can be tested directly
· Non-self-supporting layer: refers to the need to use some permeable materials to spread underneath for testing
