The putty scraper is designed and manufactured according to the coating and scraping method in GB1727-92 "General Preparation Method for Paint Film". The putty coating scraper is suitable for uniformly preparing putty coating film and thick paint coating film on various substrates (tinplate plate, steel plate, aluminum plate) in order to determine the general performance of the paint film.

1. Structure
The putty scraper consists of a base plate, a membrane frame and a scraper. On the base plate there are four spring-loaded hold-down posts to secure the film frame to prepare the coating film.
2. How it works
After fixing the standard on the bottom plate, the uniform putty film thickness formed under the thickness of the template is scraped by pressing and scraping hard with a scraper from top to bottom, and the standard template of the putty coating scraper has three different thicknesses (1±0.05 0.7±0.035 0.5±0.03) The thickness of the putty required by the product standard can be selected, due to the different solid components in the coating, when the wet film becomes a dry film, the thickness of the dry film formed is also different, so this should be fully considered when choosing to use the standard thickness film frame.
