The paint film flexibility tester produced by TRUIT is designed in accordance with GB/T 1731 standard. It is used to determine the flexibility of paint film in coatings.
Ordering Information:
TR 5230 – Paint Film Flexibility Tester
The paint film is applied to a sheet metal and bent on shaft rods of different diameters (mm) to determine the flexibility of the paint film.
The measurement was carried out at 22±1 °C and the relative temperature was not more than 70%.
Equipment & Appliances:
(1) The paint film elasticity tester (as shown in the figure) is composed of seven steel shaft rods of different thicknesses and calibers, which are fixed on the seat frame, and the seat frame can be nailed to the table side of the test bench with screws.
The dimensions of the shaft rods are as follows:
The length of each shaft rod is 35 mm
Shaft rod 1 diameter 15 mm
Shaft rod 2 diameter 10 mm
Shaft rod 3 diameter 5 mm
Shaft rod 4 diameter 4 mm
The shaft rod has 5 cross-sections of 3*10 mm, and its radius of curvature is 1.5 mm
The axle rod has 6 sections of 2*10 mm, and its radius of curvature is 1 mm
The axle rod 7 has a cross-section of 1*10 mm, and its radius of curvature is 0.5 mm
(2)Iron plate: thickness 0.2~0.3 mm, size 20*100~150 mm.
