The cylindrical bendometer produced by TRUIT is designed in accordance with GB/T 6742, ISO 1519 and ASTM D522 standards to evaluate the resistance to cracking and/or peeling from metal or plastic substrates when the coating of a basecoat, varnish or related product is bent around a cylindrical shaft under standard conditions.
There are two ways to do this:
1) As a "pass/fail" test, i.e. a test is performed with a shaft of a specified diameter to assess whether the coating meets a specific requirement
2) Perform the test with the shaft sequentially to determine the maximum shaft diameter that will cause the coating to crack and/or peel off the substrate
